DC finally released the cover art to the upcoming relaunch issue, and…well, it’s kind of a huge spoiler.

The red-hot GREEN LANTERN team of writer Geoff Johns and artist Doug Mahnke introduce an unexpected new Lantern.

So what gives? Will the series actually be a full on reboot taking place when Sinestro isn’t evil and Hal is a rookie? Highly unlikely, since the books early solicits implied it would deal with War of the Green Lanterns fallout. More likely that Sinestro is somehow reinstated as a Green Lantern as a result of War, but where does this leave the Sinestro Corps and it’s many members?

Only time will tell, I suppose. We’ll have more as it’s available.
