Pull This Book! “Avengers Origins: Vision”

Marvel continues it’s nearly year long push to THE AVENGERS this week by revisiting and refreshing the origins of it’s most popular members from the rosters of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. First up is the sadly fallen to the wayside in recent years but now slated for a full on return Vision, who died way, way back in the Avengers: Disassembled event (a second Vision has been serving the Young Avengers and briefly on Hank Pym’s Mighty Avengers, but this younger Vision is hardly considered the real deal, despite being born from the programming and memories of it’s predecessor).  There’s clearly a lot of love for the phase shifting synthezoid, with a beautiful cover by Marko Djurdjevic and equally gorgeous interiors by Stephane Perger; I’m particularly in love with the above image of a newly minted Vision descending on (I assume) Janet Van Dyne.

“Is he man or machine? Created by the evil Ultron, The Vision was meant to be a terrifying weapon of destruction. But when tasked with destroying The Avengers, he must decide whether to follow his programming…or defy his creator. Witness the origin of The Avengers’ most mysterious member in this exciting one-shot! Written by Kyle Higgins & Alec Siegel with art by Stephane Perger.”
