Okay, pay per view starts in like, uh, now, so this is a bit under the wire, but here’s my predictions for how the show shakes down. You can watch Cesar & I live tweet it over at The Raw Reactor’s Twitter page.
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena — Extreme Rules Match
Lesnar by pinfall. He’ll likely win clean, maybe after some more Cena showboating. Cena’s losing streak storyline isn’t nearly over yet.
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho — Chicago Street Fight for WWE Championship
Punk via submission. Forcing Jericho to tap out twice cements Punks’ main event status, and with Jericho already committed to leaving the WWE for a bit again, it’s unlikely he wins the title.
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan — 2 out of 3 Falls for World Heavyweight Championship
Par for course, Sheamus will likely win the first fall by Brogue Kick and Bryan wins the second fall through shenanigans, but I’m betting the now incredibly over Bryan will win the third fall and the belt via YES! Lock.
The Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes for Intercontinental Title
Big Show via. Pinfall after a knockout punch. I love Cody, but I’m betting he doesn’t take the belt home tonight, sadly.
Nikki Bella vs. Beth Phoenix — WWE Divas Championship
Nikki retains. Someone will interfere, whether that’s a returning Kharma or the ready to return and working house shows Layla El.
Kane vs. Randy Orton — Falls Count Anywhere Match
Orton’s going over Kane, before Kane settles back into his jobber to the stars role. Orton’s likely on his way to feud with Lesnar over the summer.
