Has Maxine Left The WWE?

NXT staple Maxine may have left the WWE, according to unconfirmed reports, apparently frustrated with not getting a guaranteed deal with the company, or being able to have matches beyond her appearances on NXT.

Maxine, born Karlee Perez, signed with WWE’s developmental division, Florida Championship Wrestling in 2009 and debuted on NXT’s third season, which aired exclusively online. She returned for NXT’s sixth season, “Redemption” and became a bit of a fan favorite. Aside from a handful of televised squash matches, Maxine didn’t appear too much on television.

Since the announcement of a revamped NXT, which involves the FCW Superstars and tapes at Full Sail Arena in Florida, the NXT brand as a whole has been removed from the WWE’s main page (though the pages still appear if you have the direct URLs, they have not been updated since NXT Redemption’s final episode) and Maxine is noticably absent from the opening credits of the new show, which currently airs exclusively in FCW’s old slot and channel.

Maxine last appeared Monday night in a Diva’s Bikini Battle Royal. As of this report, the WWE hasn’t made an official statement or wished her well in her future endeavors so, of course, take this with a grain of salt.
