Crappy Cinema Commentary: ‘The Room’

This week, Blizzamageddon 2014 continued it’s rampage as it hit Oregon, effectively shutting down Mike’s internet. Poor internet Hamster. He will be missed.

Since we couldn’t record a podcast this week due to Mike not having proper Internet (man, it feels good to not be me for a change), I’ve decided to run this. We recorded it months ago, but it never made it to the site. It’s Mike and I, along with Raw Reactor co-host Cesar, watching 2003’s infamous ‘The Room’. Mike had never seen it or even heard of it before this. Needless to say, he’s rightfully terrified.

Against all odds, this has gone on to be our most successful effort on YouTube. Probably because everyone seems to want to watch ‘The Room’, but the audio track here is replaced with our commentary. Sorry guys!  But if you enjoy our commentary, let us know and we’ll try to record them more often.

We hope Room Full of Nerd Stuff will return next week once Mike’s Internet hamster thaws out.

Crappy Cinema Commentary is a one-off but potentially one day recurring venture featuring Georgia based writer Christopher Baggett, Oregon based artist Mike Perry and California based nerd Cesar. The three watch terrible movies and make lame jokes. Mike and Chris also host the geek-media podcast Room Full of Nerd Stuff. You can subscribe to that podcast on iTunes.

You can follow Mike on Twitter at @NoDiceMike  and on Tumblr at nodicemike.tumblr.com! You can check out his portfolio at http://www.nodicecomic.com/portfolio/. As of this posting, Mike is actively seeking commissioned work!

You can follow Cesar on Twitter at @Cesarl. My understanding is that he’s aware of where his towel is.
