The Many Origins & Retcons of the Justice League of America

I’ve been wanting to do something about JLA Year One for a while now, and was reading it for research when I made a casual tweet about a moment from the book that I loved years ago and still love today. I expected it to go nowhere, but boy, was I surprised to discover that people really want fun comics.

So I decided to buckle down and do the piece on Year One after seeing a lot of people get really excited about that panel. And in the process, discovered that the history of JLA origins and retcons is in itself pretty interesting. So, rather than a long winded review of a book you should have read by now, here’s a quick look at the many origins and retcons of the Justice League of America. I hope you enjoy it.
