The HomeWorld Is On Limited Updates

Hey all,

You might have noticed I’ve been quiet. I’ve made numerous tweets about it, but you’re not all following The HomeWorld on Twitter for some reason, so here’s your official notice. I’m moving. Not like “Oh hey, this place down the road is nicer.” like I did a year ago, but “Oh hey, this town is a sewer, this place 90 minutes away looks nice”. It’s a lot of stress, a lot of time, and most importantly, a lot of my shit in a box somewhere that I can’t quite place the location of at any given time. My computer isn’t even hooked up; I’ve got my laptop, and I can do most anything the sites would require on it, but it’s not quite as easy.

So, The HomeWorld is on limited updates. I’m not saying there won’t be posts; just don’t count on very many. On the flip side, if you wanted to be a guest writer, now is a prime oppurtunity.

There are two other sites in the network, of course: The RAW Reactor, our Monday night WWE podcast, is on hiatus. Cesar is moving too, at the exact same time I am. Also, there’s some debate of changing up the format; namely, dropping the “Live during RAW” aspect of it and doing it at a more convenient date and time, with the occasional, live episode still cropping up. We’re in the debate process on that one; leave a comment if you have any thoughts on the matter. We’re hoping to have the podcast back up and running in a month or so.

ASTOUNDINGLY, Gavin is ALSO moving (I swear to God, I am not making this up), so the web comic Danny & Scooter is also on hiatus. We’re not aiming for a terribly long hiatus, but we’re also not aiming to resume it until we can do it right.

So we’re not dead. We’re just super busy. Expect more posts from our affiliates Geek Life and Galaxy Next Door over the next few weeks. Thanks for sticking with us, and we’ll see you guys again as soon as possible.
