TOUGH ENOUGH Returning

WWE’s Tough Enough Returns This April

So what if NXT was kind of a bomb?  The WWE has announced that their reality series TOUGH ENOUGH will be resuming this April, airing in the 8PM time slot on USA and serving as a lead-in to Monday Night Raw.

Initially debuting in June 2001, TOUGH ENOUGH featured 12 contestants, all vying for a one year contract as a WWE (then WWF) Superstar.  The winners usually achieved some degree of success off the program, most notably current WWE champion Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin and current #1 contender John Morrison (who competed in season 3 as John Hennigan).  Can’t help but wonder if the current Miz/Morrison feud is going to be used to further promote the revived TOUGH ENOUGH; we’ll have more details as they emerge.
