NOT The First Look At “MAN OF STEEL”

New Photoshop actually turns out to be damn convincing.

Update Whoops. This one, which I found on Comic Book Resources, is actually a Photoshop of a scene from Smallville. Still, it’s a very damn well done Photoshop, so credit where credit is due. Hopefully we’ll see something from the movie soon.

Original story:
I won’t lie, I’m looking forward to Man of Steel. Superman on the big screen is always great, and I thought Superman Returns was way better than everyone gives it credit for. This morning, we get our first look at Henry Cavill and Amy Adams as Clark Kent and Lois Lane in Man of Steel.

Not a lot to really judge the movie on, obviously. It does look like it’s going the route of previous films and attempting to capture an older, rustic feel for the world of Superman, something which I think always goes pretty well with the character. Hopefully, we’ll start to see more on the movie soon, but it’s just a relief to know that this one has actually made it to filming, and we’ll get to see it some time next year.
