According to Bautista’s Twitter (@DaveBautista, RT’d by @CMPunk), Bautista has a MMA match in the CES MMA League booked on October 6th at the Duncan Doughnuts Theater in Providence, Rhode Island.
Bautista will compete against Rashid Evans (not to be confused with MMA fighter Rashad Evans.)
It will be interesting to see how Bautista does when he finally hits the MMA circuit after his much talked about, but ultimately unfulfilled debut in StrikeForce that was set to occur in 2010.
Does a 43 year old Bautista still have the skills and strength to jump into the MMA ring? We’ll see.
