The Pull List: The final stand of the first detective!

ivx1Inhumans vs. X-Men #1

(W) Charles Soule, Jeff Lemire (A/CA) Yu Leinil

THIS IS IT!

The X-Men and Inhumans have been on a collision course since the link was proven between the Inhumans’ precious Terrigen Mist and the sickness and death of many mutants. When Beast discovers that the mutants have only two weeks before the planet is uninhabitable for them, an Inhuman/mutant war is unavoidable. Co-written by Charles Soule (Uncanny Inhumans, Daredevil) and Jeff Lemire (Extraordinary X-Men, Moon Knight), IVX delivers sensational set pieces, gargantuan grudge matches, all drawn by the sensational Leinil Francis Yu! Whether you’re for the X-MEN or the INHUMANS, IVX promises to shatter the Marvel Universe as you know it!

Rated T+

Marvel’s treatment of the X-Men has been weird, with reports that they’ve been pushed to the backburner due to not owning film rights for Stan’s band of merry mutants. With the conclusion of Death of X two weeks ago and the death of Cyclops (well, one of them), Marvel looks to be on track to restore the lines to their classic prestige. It all starts here, as the Inhumans and the X-Men beat the ever loving snot out of each other. I’m not a huge fan of the timing: IvX is kicking off just as Civil War is ending after a number of delays, and the event exhaustion is real. But I’m looking forward to a classic X-Men line again.

Next up, a classic horror creator is back with a solo anthology series!
