Wrestling: Evan Bourne’s Return Delayed After “Accident”

Former Tag Champ Evan "Air" Bourne's Return After A Wellness Suspension Has Hit A Huge Bump IN The Road

It’s not easy being Evan “Air” Bourne, the fan adored WWE high flyer who’s in a ton of trouble after receiving two wellness suspensions within months. Bourne, whose suspension period from his last wellness failure was up and he was due back to return any time after Monday, just announced via Twitter that he’s mangled his foot.

Bourne makes no mention of the cause of the injury or how long he expects to be out, but a mangled foot definitely means a few more months. Could we have already seen the last of Evan Bourne in the WWE? Although his in-ring style makes him marketable to kids and he’s considered a great worker by many, his back to back wellness suspensions, and the fact that he hasn’t really caught on with a mainstream crowd yet may make him highly expendable come the annual WWE Spring Cleaning.
