What is BOOM!’s new imprint, ‘Boom! Box’?

So Archaia got bought by BOOM!, which is a really cool prospect, and now I’m getting BOOM! press releases in addition to Archaia ones, which is pretty sweet because I appreciate BOOM! for what it is. So today I get an e-mail simply titled “Visual Press Release”, and this is all it is (aside from the usual About The Company mumbo jumbo).

I don’t know what it is! I’ve googled it, and I’ve tried to figure it out, but all I can find is the Twitter hashtag, #WeAreBoom. It looks like it’s going to be a new indie initiative from BOOM!, which would make sense seeing as they launched the new Artist Submission Facebook page a few weeks ago, aiming at giving artists an easy place to post their art for review. We’ll keep an ear to the ground and see what comes of this.

The rest of the press release follows.
